Weekdays
I haven't spent much time blogging lately. I keep forgetting I even have this thing here, to be quite honest. I haven't done much lately anyways. Just getting back into school work.I had today off though-- it was pretty fun. Angela came over in the morning and we watched Crazy, Stupid, Love (one of my all time favorite cheesy rom-coms). Isabella's mother picked us up and took us out for Korean BBQ and Frozen Yogurt, and we proceded to the grocery store to pick up some essentials to make Nancy's week-late birthday cookies.

Except the cookie above is just a monster cookie we made since Angela did something to the batter and totally fucked it over, but nonetheless it turned out delicious.
A while back ago late December I watched Les Misérables with my mom. I saw the original one and thought that one was great, but to be honesty I found the new one quite dragged on and elongated. I got sick of Russell Crowe saying "Jean Valjean" every fifty seconds. Nonetheless the actors and actresses did an amazing job, and I have to say Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and Eddie Redmayne really sold their roles.
A couple of weeks ago I watched Gangster Squad with my dad and Audrey, and I have to say I enjoyed it. I actually really liked the time setting and the cinematography caught my eye. The fight scenes at the end were really vivid, and the slow motion effects actually worked for the scenes instead of making it look like some cheap, crappy, visual spin to add variety to the shots.
I was excited to see Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone get paired up again. For some reason they always look so good as a couple.
Yesterday I watched Django Unchained (2012) with my parents, and it was pretty interesting, but to be quite honest, I thought the back story was kind of boring, but that's probably because I didn't pay attention and I'm too young to actually find that kind of history interesting after learning so much about it in middle school.
I have a couple of movies on my "movies-to-watch" list:
- Life of Pi
- Lincoln
- Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- Silver Linings Playbook
- Skyfall 007
- Sucker Punch
- Super 8
I can't help but laugh at the fact that the movies I want to watch all start with either L's or S's. Glad I had today off, I had quite a bit of fun, but tomorrow it's time to step back into a shitty reality.
I've also decided to restart leisure reading again. I haven't done it in a while and I kind of miss it. Reading books used to be my favorite thing, until I stopped abruptly. Sadly, stopping all that reading has kind of deteriorated my vocabulary or it just hasn't done any good for me. I decided to be cliche and read Looking For Alaska. I like it-- so far.
At first, the story seems a bit cheesy and like all those other teenage related novels and best sellers, but the plot thickens. I'm only on page 93. I would be further into it, but this weekend my parents kept dragging me everywhere with them, but at least I got to get out of the house and spend some time with them.

Orchestra rehearsals and AP test corrections, jesus christ. Although, I am excited for TVD and SPN this week. The new Supernatural preview for 8x11 looks hilarious. I always love their comic relief episodes. As for The Vampire Diaries I'm really intrigued to see how Jeremy will handle the challenge of all killing all those vamps. Stefan's getting back into his douche mode though. Not a big fan.
I promise you TV shows are not my life... I just spend a lot of time watching them, haha.
