Fish Camp
Hi everybody, I just came back from Fish Camp. Fish Camp was pretty much orientation for 9th grade. I went with Jessica and it was a pretty good time. We saw some friends, although I didn't get acknowledged much. That doesn't really matter to me though. I got to see where my classes were, and I have to say, my schedule is pretty easy. All of my classes revolve around C, D, and E hall. The only other hall I have to go to is G hall for Algebra. I got my school ID and bought an agenda so I pretty much have what I need for the first day. Besides paper and writing utensils. I'm not sure what supplies I need to have for each class, so when I go buy my supplies this weekend I guess I'll just buy the basics such as folders, pens, pencils, etc.. Hopefully my mom will take me shopping for clothes because I need a couple of skinnies and new shirts. I don't need any shoes because she bought me Sperry's and I still have my grey Converse.
I'm actually pretty excited for the year to come. I hope I meet lots of new people and I hope to do well. But I have to start reading Ender's Game before school starts because one of the PAP/IB English teachers said that there would be a quiz on it, so I should start reading tonight after dinner.
On the otherhand, the weather today is extremely nice. Even though it's a bit gloomy, it's only 85°F/29°C and there's a bit of wind, so it's a tad bit breezy and the sun's not out. That's actually one of the best weather days we've had in a long time.
So yeah, I'm home with my dog and I'm waiting for my mom to come home. I hope she'll make Vietnamese Crab Soup because I'm really craving for it. (Not to mention I went to Ortho yesterday and they put quite a bit of pressure on my teeth.) But anyways, we're missing eggs, so we have to go to the store to buy some. I also kind of want to go to the store to buy cake mix because I'm in the mood to make some cupcakes and buy some iced tea ;u;
